Punk in a Bowling Alley

Burger Records is a record label and store based in California. Founded by members of power pop outfit Thee Makeout Party, the independent record label is synonymous amongst the alternative community. They have released music from the likes of Ty Segall, Ryan Adams, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Black Lips and over 350 other bands. Most remarkably, the label releases most of its material on cassette tapes.

Founded in 2007, this year sees the record label celebrate 10 years of tasty rock and punk titles from a variety of act including both well-known acts and lesser known regional groups. The celebration will see the first ever Burger Revolution satellite event taking place in South Africa.

On the 11th of March, the Johannesburg event will take place simultaneously with 47 other shows spread across 13 countries in 5 different continents. Be a part of the global Burger Revolution and join Make-Overs, The Moths, The Bad Ass Execs, Mouse and The Myths at Xtreme Bowling in Bramley.
