An Audiovisual Transmission Project
It’s been 4 years since the release of Beatenberg’s award-winning sophomore album, and the band is still selling out shows to this year off the back of it’s critical and commercial success. It’s not clear when we’ll be getting new music from the band, but we’ll have to do so with a new solo from their drummer, Robin Brink.
Known as okayshades, the producer recently released a new EP titled, Documentary. The 3-track project was produced over the period of a week at the Red Bull Studios in Cape Town and features Blaqkongo and Pasta with mastering by Ryan Sullivan. As with Bombora – a collaborative project he released with Beatenberg bandmate, Ross Dorkin – Documentary sees experimenting with the genres house and techno.
