Themed around heartache & moving on from a break-up, the track features a mix of indie, electro and synth-rooted melodies.

Durban-born singer and songwriter Josh Wantie, real name Joshua Wantenaar, has finally released the music video for his 2nd single “Fall Again” off of his debut EP ‘Paper Crown’ under label Gallo Record Company, the largest record label in South Africa and home to some of South Africa’s biggest acts such as Grammy-award winning acapella group Ladysmith Black Mambazo and trailblazing indie rock band The Parlotones. The single debuted on 5FM back in July and the music video was subsequently released on YouTube and marketed through his social media.

“Fall Again” is a song about heartache and moving on from a breakup and the video, directed by Durban-based filmmakers Tomfoolery, is a fitting visual interpretation of Josh’s sound interplaying pop with is his own blend of indie, electro and synth-rooted melodies. Recorded by veteran engineer Brent Quinton, the solid production blends well with Josh’s lyrics which in turn translates into a beautifully melancholic video with dark blue and purple hues representing the calm sadness of the video’s tone.

The video coincided with the release of Josh’s debut EP ‘Paper Crown’ which was officially released digitally on 12 August 2016 and as a physical EP on Monday 15 August, as an added bonus people who buy the physical copy will get a little extra with each track getting it’s own bonus track. ‘Fall Again’ was made available as an instant download with every pre-order of the EP.
