Featuring Internationals Ivy Lab and The Prototypes
Grietfest is returning to Johannesburg for it’s it’s 7th year, on the 26th of August. Ivy Lab, The Prototype and Billy Kenny are the international headliners with local talents PHFAT, Popartlive, Niskerone sure to give them a run for their money. Ultimately, it’s bass music lovers who stand to gain with their favourite international and local producers and DJs set to light up the city of Johannesburg.
The event returns to its new home in the container yards at Impex Avenue in City Deep, South of Johannesburg. The previous venue, Town Hall, is etched into the lore of Johannesburg nightlife but the outdoor and industrial nature of the container yards has added an entirely different element the affair.
Grietfest is made possible by Griet in partnership with Olmeca Tequila with collaborators Science Frikshun, Red Bull Studios Cape Town and Fiction Nights.
