Win Tickets to Grassy Spark Album Launch

Enter The Portal

Imagine cult icons Fuzigish and Shortstraw had a baby. It wouldn’t be farfetched to imagine that baby sounding like Grassy Spark.

Since winning the opportunity to play on the same bill as The Cat Empire, Milky Chance, and The Kooks at In The City, the 7-piece ska band has made great strides towards achieving cult status. The band has featured on every major festival line-up culminating in a return to the In The City line-up with Foster The People, Mac Miller and Beardyman. This time the band was invited to perform without having to win a contest.

In the thick of all the touring, Grassy Spark found time to record their debut album. Entitled, Portal, the 11-track debut is a feel-good anthology bound to infect any listener with joy. The album was released in August and the band is currently supporting its release with an album launch tour. The tour sees them at Rumours this Friday with support from Fuzigish, BOXER, Harbinger and Nasty Rumours from Switzerland.

We’re giving away one double ticket to the show this weekend. All you have to do in order to stand a chance to win is tell us what your favourite song on Portal is.

Comment below, on our Facebook page or Tweet us your answer including the hashtag #EnterThePortal. Increase your chances of winning by using every channel.

Competition closes and winner selected and notified on Thursday the 27th of October.
