Heartbreak Remixed
Formerly known as SageVideōs, Sage Hitomi has ushered in the new year with a new music. WINTER HEARTBREAK is a 4-track EP featuring chopped versions of RnB-driven tracks from PARTYNEXTDOOR, Rihanna featuring Drake and Years & Years.
In WINTER HEARTBREAK, the vapourwave producer has created a break-up project. He lays sombre lyrics about broken love in juxtaposition to warm sprightly synths and upbeat rhythms. The tropical summery feel of the EP stands in contrast even to the cold title of the EP. The project is a tapestry of self-healing which opens with the trill ‘i miss u’ which is the only original on the EP.
Sadness has never sounded so happy and with WINTER HEARTBREAK, Sage has literally remixed heartbreak suggesting this too shall pass. Stream the EP below.
