Bands and Brews at Capital Craft Beer Festival
The Fuss had the opportunity to revel at the previous Capital Craft Beer Festival so we did a Selfies of feature. The general consensus from the revellers we spoke to was that the festival was an exceptional outing with Bombshelter Beast, Hellcats and BCUC being the aural highlights and Nine Inch Ale and Fokof Lager being the brewed highlights.
This year the festival returns for its fifth edition. Over the five years, the festival has established itself as an indispensable part of the Pretoria social calendar as 8000 beer and music lovers congregate in the beautiful, natural scenery offered by the Pretoria National Botanical Gardens. This year will be no different with the festival hosting 35 brewers with over 200 different kinds of beers available on tap. Unlike the hash of a certain festival earlier this year, there will also be non-alcoholic beverages available for those who prefer to abstain and a great selection of food will also be available from more than 30 food vendors. Entertainment will be provided across three stages with the likes of Shortstraw, Josh Kempen and Urban Village performing.
Capital Craft Beer Festival takes place on Saturday the 10th of June at Pretoria Botanical Gardens. Tickets are available from Plankton for R165 which will also get you a branded beer mug.
